At Present, Emmanuel Charitable & Educational Trust’s mission work includes:
- Children’s Home, where 50 orphaned & abandoned children are being cared for. Some of these children were obtained immediately after being rejected at birth, and while others were brought from various nooks and corners of India. Included in these numbers are those children that which the society has deemed to be ‘unlovable’ due to physical or mental abnormalities.
- Public High School, which offers education from preschool to 12th grade for over 800 students. The school cares for all aspects of their growth: physical, intellectual, and spiritual. The school’s motto is: “Come forth to learn, Go forth to serve.” The school is accredited and recognized by the Government of Tamil Nadu.
- Bible Institute, currently offering Bachelor level degrees in Theology, training young men and women in reaching India & beyond with the good news of Jesus Christ. The Bible Institute is accredited by National Association of Theological Accreditation, Bangalore.
- Church with over 300 members, following the New Testament pattern of worship.
- Village Ministry, concentrating on developing one village at a time for the glory of God and the good of all it’s citizens, by planting churches, conducting summer & regular classes for school going children, Vacation Bible Schools, and various other outreach programs through mission trips.
